What is the Aim of the WELLME Project
WellMe is a European partnership dedicated to improving the well-being and mental health of young people, with a special focus on those living in rural and local communities.
Our mission is to empower youth with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities they need to build resilience, nurture their creativity, and thrive both personally and socially.
The challenges for Youth living Local/Rural
We believe that every young person deserves the chance to grow up healthy—emotionally, mentally, and physically.
Youth across Europe face increasing challenges to their mental health and wellbeing, particularly in local and rural communities where access to structured support is limited.
Many young people lack safe spaces, guidance, and practical skills to build resilience and healthy habits.
The WELLME project addresses this gap by empowering youth workers with evidence-based, practical training modules that can be replicated in diverse community settings.
Our approach values each individual, supporting young people in discovering their strengths, making positive choices, and building a brighter future for themselves and their communities.
